Ahmed Abdel-Moghny Hammouda - Board Member
Mr. Ahmed is an M&A Expert with investment banking and corporate finance proven track record. Ahmed graduated with honors from Cairo University, Faculty of Commerce – English Section in cooperation with City University (UK) in 1998 with a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences. Also, he joined Ernst & Young in Egypt in 2004 from his own consulting practice as well as lecturing at universities including MSA, CIC and BUE. He managed several assignments including Valuations & Business Plans, Information and Credit Memoranda and was the quality assurance and independence coordinator for Ernst & Young’s Business Advisory Solutions in Egypt.
At the end of 2007, Ahmed joined Makaseb Islamic Capital as Senior Associate Investment Banker managing a wide range of investment banking transactions in the UAE and the Gulf. Around mid 2009, Ahmed returned to Cairo to join Mars in as a Regional Finance Manager for Levant and Maghreb countries over seeing financial operations in 9 countries. In 2012 Ahmed was appointed Associate Director at Enmaa the agriculture arm of Juhayna Group and after this held a Senior Consultant position leading the Investment Banking activities at Fincorp Investment Holding mid 2014 for 1 year. Ahmed joined Premiere Holding in June 2015 as Managing Director of the Investment Banking Division. In March 2018 Ahmed joined Anderson as an M&A Partner. Currently Ahmed is a partner at Data insight a member of Berkley Research Group in Riyadh KSA since August 2019.
Ahmed holds Board Member roles with several Companies: Premiere Investment, Mwasalat Misr, and Barbary Investment Group. In addtion, he holds an MBA (with honors) majoring in international business from French Grande Ecole ESLSCA in 2001. He is a Certified Management Accountant (USA), Certified in Financial Management (USA), and registered for Level II CFA (USA). Ahmed also passed with distinction five exams of the fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK. Ahmed is a Certified Private Equity Specialist (CPES) from the institute of Banking and Finance.
